Side Sill Trim Panel, Removing And Installing, RS 4: Removing
-- Remove the rear door. Refer to DOOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Loosen the front wheel housing liner at the rear and press it to the side. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .
-- Release the retainers in direction of -B arrows- and remove the side sill trim panel from the securing strip.
-- Retainers the catches in direction of -A arrows- and remove the lower side sill trim panel from the front fender.
-- Warm up the side sill trim panel -1- using the : VAS1978/14A in the adhesion area -2- and loosen from the bonding.
-- Push the side sill trim panel upward -B arrows- and pivot in the direction of -arrow A-.
-- Push the rear bracket -1- upward in direction of -arrow A- and pivot on the bottom upward in direction of -arrow B- and remove.
