Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Remove any CD/DVDs and SD/SIM cards from the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-.

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment and remove the ignition key.

-- Remove the glove compartment. Refer to GLOVE COMPARTMENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

The wires to the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794- are very short. For this reason the bracket must be removed first. With the removal of the glove compartment two bolts for the bracket are loosened.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and fold the bracket -1- downward.

-- Release and disconnect the connectors from the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794- -2-.

-- Insert the : VAS6223/9  -1- onto the MOST bus connector -2-.

-- Insert the two clips from the : T10057  into the release slots on the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-.

• The points on the grip eyelets of the : T10057  face outward.
• Both : T10057  must engage.

-- Remove the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794- from the bracket at the : T10057  grip eyes.

-- Press the release tabs on the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794- and remove the : T10057  .
