Release Button In Rear Lid Handle -E234-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SEDAN: Removing

-- Remove the rear lid lower trim panel. Refer to REAR LID LOWER TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Free up the wiring harness -2-.

-- Equipment version with fixed backrest: free up the emergency release cable.

-- Release the retainers in direction of -arrows- and remove the cover -1-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- If equipped, disconnect the antenna wire -2-.

-- Release the side tabs in direction of -arrows A- and remove the button -1- outward in direction of -arrow B-.
