TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

Possibly caused by an incorrectly installed oil filler cap.

PRODUCTION SOLUTION

Not applicable.

SERVICE

Remove and re-install the oil filler cap in the correct position. Before inserting the oil filler cap, thoroughly clean the contact surfaces of the cap and the filler neck.

If the oil filler cap is installed correctly, please work through the complaint using Guided Fault Finding.
