Fender, Preparing for Installation

• The fender can only be ordered in individual components and must be prepared for installation as follows.

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Pop Rivet Nut Pliers :VAS5072A 
• Drill
• Pop rivets. Refer to the Parts Information.

A4/A5:

-- Use pop rivets -1- to fasten the bracket -3- and reinforcement -4- to the fender -2-.

• The brackets must be behind the fender edge.

RS 4 / RS 5:

-- Rivet the adapter -1- on the fender -2- with pop rivets -3-.

• The adapter must be behind the fender edge.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

-- If equipped, insert the seal -2- into the fender -1-.
