Lock Carrier Trim Panel, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the rear luggage compartment floor. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Free up the lock carrier trim panel near the rear lid seal -1- .

-- All except g-tron: lift the rear luggage compartment floor and push forward.

-- G-tron: remove the rear luggage compartment floor. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, G-TRON .

-- Free up the lock carrier trim panel near the rear lid seal -1- .

-- Grip the trim panel -2- by hand and carefully pull vertically upward using a jerking motion in direction of -arrows- .
