Glass Trim, Removing And Installing: Installing
-- Prepare the new glass trim for installation. Refer to NEW GLASS TRIM, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .
-- Prepare the body flange for installation. Refer to BODY FLANGE, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .
-- Apply the adhesive all around.
-- Insert the new glass trim and align, at the same time pay attention to the following points:
- Glass panel closed.
- The sealing lip on the cover profile -3- of the windshield -1- must contact the glass trim -2- and must point upward -arrow-. For this secure the sealing lip with adhesive tape on the windshield.
- Note the installation position. Refer to GLASS PANEL, ADJUSTING, A5 .
Further installation is performed in reverse order of removal, while noting the following:
- Observe minimum curing times. Refer to MINIMUM CURING TIME FOR BONDED SLIDING SUNROOF .
-- Open the glass panel.
-- Perform an adaptation. Refer to Sunroof Motor -V1-, PROGRAMMING .
