Front Door Window, Removing And Installing, A5: Removing

-- Remove the window regulator motor. Refer to WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bass speaker. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - SOUND SYSTEM .

-- Remove the door inner cover. Refer to DOOR INNER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the inner window shaft strip -3- from the door fold. Refer to INNER WINDOW SHAFT STRIP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, A5 .

-- Run the door window down until the bolts in the opening are visible.

-- Remove the bolt -1- and loosen the bolt -4- only four turns.

TIP:

The rear bolt must be completely removed to remove the door window.

-- Remove the door window -2- upward out of the clamping brackets and remove it from the door -arrow-.
