Brake Caliper Piston/Protective Cap/Gasket, Removing And Installing: Notes

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Piston Resetting Tool :T10145
Thrust Piece :T40325 for the protective cap.
Removal Tool :VAS40338
Assembly Paste :G 052 150 A2

NOTE:

Carefully pry the protective cap -1- and the seal out of the brake caliper with the :VAS40338 -2- using gentle lever movements, and do not damage the groove for the protective cap in the brake caliper while doing so.
