- Note and follow safety instructions on containers.
- Avoid contact with refrigerant; wear safety goggles and hand protection.

NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
If the A/C service station for the R1234yf refrigerant identifies contaminated refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit of the vehicle before the suction process, a SPECIAL PROCEDURE to draw off and dispose of this refrigerant must be followed.
If the A/C service station for the R1234yf refrigerant identifies contaminated refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit of the vehicle before the suction process, a SPECIAL PROCEDURE to draw off and dispose of this refrigerant must be followed.
- Let the engine run for a few minutes at a low engine speed (800-1200 RPM) and with the heating and air conditioning system switched on.
- Stop engine.
- Remove the sealing caps from the refrigerant filler necks.
- Connect the high pressure line of the A/C service station with the vehicle's high-pressure connection (red).
- Connect the low-pressure line of the A/C service station with the vehicle's low-pressure connection (blue).
- Start the suction process on the A/C service station.
- During suction process, allow the blower of the heating and air-conditioning unit to run at middle blower speed.
- Record the amount of evacuated refrigerant and coolant oil level after having completed suction process.
- Keep the sheet with the recorded quantities as the values are once again required when filling.
- Disconnect the high pressure line and low pressure line.
- Drain the high pressure line and low pressure line.
- Close the sealing cap of the coolant filler neck.
- Correctly dispose of the drained refrigerant oil.
