Install expansion valve

• Replace sealing rings with special tool 0 496 714 (00 9 030)  .
• Replace the guide sleeves using special tool 2 298 505  .
• Correctly position the expansion valves (2).
• Tighten down screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Expansion valve to heater - A/C
  M5	Tightening torque	5.5 Nm

• Correctly position the refrigerant line (2).
• Tighten nut (1).

  Refrigerant line to expansion valve/connecting piece
  M6	Tightening torque	13 Nm

• Close the holder (1).

• Correctly position the E-Box (2).
• Tighten down screws (1).

• Correctly position the cover (1) and shift it in the direction of the arrow.
• The cover (1) must engage correctly in this area (2).

Follow-up work 

• Install rear acoustic COVER .
• Install the upper part CENTER COWL
• Install shock tower TENSION STRUT .
• Install windshield panel COVER .
• Install left and right WIPER ARM .
• Install the rear left engine compartment COVER .
• Install the front hood rear SEAL .
• Install acoustic COVER .
• EVACUATE and charge conditioning.
