Detach positive battery cable from alternator

Prerequisite 

Battery ground lead is disconnected.

• Detach the cover (1) and release the nut below it.
• Disconnect the positive battery cable (3) from the gas generator.
• Detach the positive battery cable (3) from the mountings (2) and set aside.
