Removing the acoustic cover of the oil sump

Prerequisite 

Battery earth leads are disconnected.

• Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
• Loosen nut (2).
• Guide the positive battery cable (3) out of the clamp (4) and lay to one side.

• Unlock and loosen the clamps (1).
• Guide out the wiring harness section (2) for the automatic transmission and place it aside.

• Detach all expanding rivets (1).

• Feed out the acoustic cover (1) toward the rear bottom and remove.
