Securing the oil sump acoustic cover

CAUTION: Improper routing of the positive battery cable.
Risk of short circuits!

Feed in and install the acoustic cover (3) of the oil pan.
Secure clamps (1).
Connect and lock the clamp (2).
The clamp (2) must engage audibly.

Insert and install cable (3).
Connect and lock the clamp (2).
Connect and lock the clamp (1).
All clamps must engage audibly.

Connect and lock the clamps (arrows).

Connect cable (1) to the starter motor.

Tighten nut (2).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Terminal 50 to starter motor
M6	Tightening torque 7 Nm

Feed the positive battery cable (3) in on the starter and install.
Install the anti-twist lock (4) of the positive battery cable to the starter motor up to the stop (5).
Tighten nut (6).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Battery positive lead to starter
M8	Tightening torque 13.5 Nm
