Installing the left and right catalytic converters
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
In order to be able to remove the catalytic converter for cylinders 5 to 8, the catalytic converter for cylinders 1 to 4 also needs to be removed.
In order to be able to remove the catalytic converter for cylinders 5 to 8, the catalytic converter for cylinders 1 to 4 also needs to be removed.
- Replace seals on exhaust turbocharger.
Parts: Seals
- Guide in and install the catalytic converter (1) for cylinders 5 to 8 in the arrow direction.
- Connect the catalytic converter (1) for cylinders 5 to 8 to the exhaust turbocharger.
- Guide in and install the catalytic converter (1) for cylinders 1 to 4 in the arrow direction.
- Connect the catalytic converter (1) for cylinders 1 to 4 to the exhaust gas turbocharger.
- Replace clamps (1) and (2).
Parts: Clamps
- Mount clamps (1) and (2) and tighten.
The circlips (1) and (2) must be mounted with the screw connection to the inside.

- Install holder (4).
- Tighten down screws (1).
