Removing high-voltage connection for electrical machine (vehicle underbody)

Preliminary work
- Remove the acoustic COVER .
- Remove RESONATOR .
- Remove clean AIR PIPE .
- Remove the front UNDERBODY PROTECTION/FRONT THRUST FIELD .
- Remove the UNDERBODY PROTECTION of the steering gear and thrust field respectively.
- Drain the coolant from the low-temperature COOLING SYSTEM
- Remove charge AIR LINE .
- Remove the front engine ACOUSTIC COVER .
- Remove the rear hood SEAL .
- Remove rear ACOUSTIC COVER .
- Remove tank VENT VALVE .
- Remove the DME CONTROL UNIT .
- Remove control unit BRACKET .
- Remove INTAKE PLENUM .
- Release engine WIRING HARNESS .
- Remove right sealing FRAME .

- Conduct all work in the vehicle wearing appropriate personal protective equipment only.

- Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.

- Unlock and disconnect the high-voltage connector (4).
- Loosen screw (1).
- Guide out and remove holder (2).NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION Observe the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION for unlocking and disconnecting various plug connections in electrical and hybrid vehicles!
- Loosen screws (1).
- Feed the high-voltage connector (2) out and set it aside.
