- Remove the bearing screws for cylinders 1-4
- Install the bearing screws for cylinders 1-4 and 8-8
- Remove the gear from the crankshaft
- Install the gear on the crankshaft
- Install the tensioning rail of the timing chain for cylinder 5-8
- Install the guide rail of the timing chain for cylinders 5 to 8
- Install the tensioning rail of the timing chain for cylinder 1-4
- Install the slide rail of the timing chain for cylinder 1 to 4
