Install auxiliary coolant pump for the auxiliary heater

- Connect coolant hoses (2) to auxiliary coolant pump (4) correctly and fasten with spring band clamps (1).
- Plug on connector (3) and connect.
- Connect auxiliary coolant pump (1) in direction of arrow onto holder (2).
- Catch and dispose of escaping coolant.
- Disconnect the special tool 0 491 256 (13 3 010)
. For this purpose, turn the nut (2) in the direction of arrow.
Follow-up Work
- Install RESONATOR .
- Fill the HIGH-TEMPERATURE COOLING SYSTEM with the vacuum filler device
- Check the HIGH-TEMPERATURE COOLING SYSTEM for watertightness.
- Install the UNDERBODY PROTECTION of the steering gear or the front stiffening plate.
- Install front UNDERBODY PROTECTION and/or front stiffening plate.
- Install the front section of the front wheel arch COVER .
- Clean the CONTACT SURFACES between the brake disc and the wheel rim.
- Mount the WHEEL .
- Reset the TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR .
