Installing air conditioning compressor
- Replace the sealing rings with the special tool 0 496 714 (00 9 030).
- Replace the guide sleeves using special tool 2 298 505
- Correctly position the refrigerant lines on the air conditioning compressor (3).
- Tighten down screws (2).

- Insert and connect the connector (1).
- Correctly position the air conditioning compressor (2).
- Tighten the screws (1).

Follow-up work
- Install the alternator DRIVE BELT .
- Install fan COWL .
- Install the rear top CROSS CONNECTION .
- Install front CROSS CONNECTION .
- Install left and right front-end STRUT .
- Install the left and right top engine compartment COVER .
- Install the DME control unit COVER (if necessary).
- Evacuate and CHARGE CONDITIONING .
- For compressor replacement: Refer to RUN IN THE NEW AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR .
