Piston rings can bend or break due to large applications of force.

- Handle piston rings carefully.
- Only bend piston ring up lightly.
- Disassemble upper and center piston ring with piston ring pliers.
Place the piston rings so that they can be reinstalled at the correct place and in the correct position.
- Disassemble oil scraper ring (1) and spring (2) hand force.
Place the oil scraper rings and spring so that they can be reinstalled at the correct place and in the correct position.
