    • Install the piston rings

    • Remove piston ring
    • Check side clearance of piston rings
    • Check end clearance of piston rings
    • Aligning piston rings
    • Attach piston rings

    • Measure side clearance of piston rings
    • Insert the piston ring end clearance in the cylinder
    • Position the piston ring in the cylinder
    • Position the piston ring with the piston in the cylinder
    • End clearance on the piston ring
    • Measure the end clearance on the piston ring
    • Install all piston rings
    • Aligning piston rings
• 11 27 Counterbalance Shafts
  • 11 27 020 Removing and installing/replacing the counterbalance shaft (For 4 cylinders both) (530e PHEV, 2018-2020, 530e xDrive PHEV, 2018-2020)
    • Remove counterbalance shafts
    • Install counterbalance shafts (B48 technical update 0/1)
