NOTE:

Improper routing of cables and wiring harnesses.
Trapped, crushed or damaged cables may cause short circuits and malfunctions.

Trapped, crushed or damaged cables may cause short circuits and malfunctions.
- Route all cables without abrasions, do not trap and crush.
- Lay the engine wiring harness (1) for the sensor system 1 and attach with clamps.
- Route the connector (1) to the DME control unit.
- Install the connector (2) for the integrated power supply module.
- Feed in and install the engine wiring harness (2) for sensor system 1.
- Tighten down screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Cable bracket on rear cylinder head/transmission M6 x 20 Tightening torque 8 Nm - Feed in the wiring harness section (2) and position.
Make sure the lock (arrow) engages audibly.
- Tighten down screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Cable bracket on rear cylinder head/transmission M6 x 20 Tightening torque 8 Nm - Connect the connector (1) to the auxiliary coolant pump and lock it audibly.
- Connect the connector (2) to the boost pressure sensor and lock it audibly.
- Connect the connector (3) to the temperature sensor and lock it audibly.
- Connect the connector (4) to the throttle body and lock it audibly.
- Connect the connector (5) to the knock sensor for the cylinders 1 to 3 and lock it audibly.
- Connect the connector (6) to the heat management module and lock it audibly.
- Connect the connector (7) to the temperature sensor on the cylinder head and lock it.
- Connect the connector (8) to the knock sensor for the cylinders 4 to 6 and lock it audibly.
- Connect the connector (1) to the alternator and lock it audibly.
- Connect the connector (2) to the heat management module and lock it audibly.
- Connect the connector (3) to the temperature sensor on the crankcase and lock it audibly.
- Variant with rear wheel drive:
Connect the connector (1) to the oil pressure sensor and lock it audibly.
Connect the connector (2) to the crankshaft sensor and lock it audibly.
Connect the connector (3) to the solenoid valve and lock it audibly.
Connect the connector (4) to the oil-level sensor and lock it audibly.
- Variant with rear wheel drive:
Feed in and Install the engine wiring harness (2) for sens or system 1.
Connect connectors (1) and lock.
The connector (1) must engage audibly.
Secure the clamps (arrows).
- Variant with rear wheel drive:
Feed in and install the engine wiring harness (2) for sensor system 1.
Connect all connectors (1) and lock.
The connectors (1) must engage audibly.
Secure the clamps (arrows).
