Installing the side sill trim panel

Prerequisite 

The front and rear doors are open.

• Check the latch mechanisms (arrows) and replace the support of the side sill trim panel as needed.
• The latch mechanisms must not be damaged or missing.
• Feed in the side sill trim panel (1) and engage it in the latch mechanisms (arrows).

• Check the latch mechanisms (arrows) and replace the support of the side sill trim panel as needed.

  The latch mechanisms must not be damaged or missing.

• Starting at the front, engage the side sill trim panel (1) in all latch mechanisms along the broken line (arrows).

• Tighten the screws (1).
• Tighten nut (2).
