Removing The Side Panel On The Right

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVE THE TOP RIGHT COVER IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT .
• Refer to REMOVE THE COVER OF THE REAR RIGHT ENGINE COMPARTMENT .
• Refer to REMOVE THE LID FOR THE WASHER FLUID RESERVOIR .
• Refer to REMOVING THE MOUNT OF THE HOOD SEAL .
• Refer to REMOVING THE WHEEL .
• Refer to REMOVE THE FRONT RIGHT WHEEL ARCH COVER FRONT SECTION
• Refer to REMOVE REAR SECTION OF THE FRONT RIGHT WHEEL ARCH COVER .
• Refer to PARTIALLY RELEASING THE FRONT RIGHT BUMPER COVER ON THE SIDE PANEL .
• Refer to REMOVE THE TRIM FROM THE SIDE PANEL .
• Refer to REMOVE THE AIR DUCT ON THE INNER SIDE PANEL .
• Refer to REMOVE WASHER FLUID RESERVOIR .

• Mask area (1) on the headlight with a plastic adhesive tape.

• Mask the area (1) of the door with plastic adhesive tape.

• Loosen screws (1).

• Release screws (1) at the door sill trim panel.

• Loosen screw (1).

• Open the front door.
• Press onto in the signaled area (arrow) from the top and unclip the retaining lug (2).
• Release the seal (1) at the top.
• Loosen screw (3).

• Loosen screws (1).

• Loosen side panel in the sequence and direction shown with the aid of a second person.
• Pull the side panel in the upper area of the A-pillar outwards (1) in the direction of the arrow.
• Release detents (2) on the holder of the door sill trim panel.
• Pull the bottom side panel in the area of the door sill trim panel in the direction of the arrow to the top (3).
• Release detent (4) on the headlight.
• Pull the side panel in the direction of the arrow to the rear (5) and remove it.
