Completely installing the glass slide/tilt sunroof

• In order to prevent groaning noises, all bolts (1) must be secured with the plastic washers (2) prior to installation.

• Insert the glass slide/tilt sunroof into the vehicle together with a second person.
• Secure the glass slide/tilt sunroof from falling down with the help of a second person.
• Screw in the bolts (1) to (3) a few turns.

  The glass slide/tilt sunroof must still be able to move in the body aperture.

• Make sure the screws are correctly positioned.

  Screws (1)	M6x14
  Screws (2)	M6x26
  Screws (3)	M6x23

• Insert the special tool 2 354 941  into the centering bores to the limit position in glass slide/tilt sunroof and the body.
• Tighten the screws on the glass slide/tilt sunroof.

• Secure the wiring harness (2) on all cable clips (arrows).
• Connect connector (1).

• Connect all 4 water drain hoses (1).

Follow-up Work 

• Install all holders for GRAB HANDLES
• Install HEADLINING (with SA403 glass roof).
• Replace the SPACER .
• Check the instrument panel EXPANDING FOAM TAPE .
• Check windscreen COVER
• Check the cowl panel SOUND INSULATION .
• Install WINDSCREEN .
• Secure front HEADLINING .
• Install all GRAB HANDLES .
• Install both c-pillar TRIM PANELS .
• Partially install top left and right b-pillar TRIM PANELS
• Install rear interior roof LIGHT .
• Connect rain-light-solar-condensation sensor CONNECTOR
• Install the KAFAS CAMERA with the integrated control unit.
• Install the interior MIRROR .
• Install the interior mirror COVERS .
• Install roof FUNCTION CENTER (FZD).
• Install the left and right SUN VISORS
• Install both vanity mirror LIGHTS .
• Install the left and right sun visor COUNTER SUPPORTS .
• Install the right hands-free MICROPHONE .
• Install left hands-free MICROPHONE .
• Install the left and right a-pillar TRIM PANEL .
• Install the left and right roof TRIM STRIP .
• Install panel cover COWL .
• Install left and right WIPER ARM .
• Install the rear right engine compartment COVER .
• Install the engine compartment on the rear left COVER .
• Calibrate KAFAS CAMERA .
