Flush and bleed the front axle brake circuit (brake high)
NOTE:
Description is for right component only. The procedure on the left side is identical.
- Two different fixed brake calipers are installed!
- In both variants, the outside (1) must be vented first.
Then vent on the inside (2).
- Start flushing at the right front.
- Connect the vent hose with the collecting vessel to the bleed valve (1) on the front right brake caliper.
- Open the bleed valve (1) and purge it until clear, bubble-free brake fluid emerges.
- Close bleed valve (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Front bleed valve from brake caliper manufacturer Brembo Bleed valve Tightening torque 18 Nm TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATIONFixed caliper front bleed valve from brake caliper manufacturer Continental Bleed valve Tightening torque 15 Nm - Connect the vent hose with the collecting vessel to the bleed valve (1) on front right brake caliper.
- Open bleed valve (1) and purge it until clear, bubble-free brake fluid emerges.
- Close bleed valve (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Follow-up work
- Disconnect the brake fluid BLEEDER UNIT .
