Installing the drive belt for the coolant pump

• Feed in drive belt (1) and position.

  If necessary, observe the indicated direction of rotation.

• Ensure that the drive belt (1) of the coolant pump is positioned correctly in the marked area  on the coolant pump (3).
• Ensure that the drive belt (1) of the coolant pump is positioned correctly in the marked area  on the vibration damper (2).
• Ensure that the drive belt (1) of the coolant pump is positioned correctly in the marked area  on the tensioning pulley (4).

• Tighten tensioning pulley in direction of arrow up to the limit position.

• Replace nut (1),

  Parts:  Nut

• Tighten nut (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Nut on belt tensioner
  M10 Replace nut.	Tightening torque	38 Nm

  Check 

  • Check if the Torx socket (2) is in the marked area (arrow),

  Result 

  » The Torx socket (2) is outside the marked area,

  Measure

  • Tension drive belt again.
• Install the cover (1).
