- Secure component against falling off the jack.

Forcibly removing, installing or dropping the gasoline particulate filter down will damage it.

- Remove and install the gasoline particulate filter without damaging it and without applying external force.
- Avoid impacts/knocks to the gasoline particulate filter (e.g. by tools, falling down, hard contact with base).

After exchanging the gasoline particulate filter, and before delivering the vehicle to the customer, the registration of the gasoline particulate filter must be carried out!

- Remove and install the gasoline particulate filter without damaging it and without applying external force.

- Loosen the nuts (1).
- Remove the heat shield (2).
- Unscrew the nuts (1) on the gasoline particulate filter or bottom catalytic converter near engine (2).
- Unscrew the screws (1) on the gasoline particulate filter or bottom catalytic converter near engine (2).
- Remove the seal (1).
- Guide out the gasoline particulate filter or bottom catalytic converter near engine (2) and remove it.
