Loosen the plug connection on the VANOS central valve, exhaust side, cylinders 5 to 8
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVE THE LEFT AND RIGHT FRONT-END STRUT
- Refer to REMOVING THE ACOUSTIC COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING .
- Refer to REMOVE FAN COWL .
- Refer to REMOVING THE LEFT UNFILTERED-AIR DUCT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE RIGHT UNFILTERED-AIR DUCT .
- Refer to DETACH THE CHARGE AIR HOSE FROM THE EXHAUST TURBOCHARGER OF CYLINDERS 5 TO 8 .
- Refer to DRAINING THE COOLANT FOR THE CHARGE AIR COOLER .
- Refer to REMOVE LEFT CHARGE AIR COOLER .
- Pull the lock (1) the direction of the arrow.
- Disconnect the plug connection (2) on the VANOS central valve in the direction of the arrow.
