Oil Pressure Switch, Level 3 -F447-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Socket: T10405

Procedure 

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If necessary, free up the engine wiring harness -1-.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- and the bracket -2- (example illustration).

-- Disconnect the connector -2- for the Oil Pressure Switch, Level 3 -F447-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the coolant pump toothed belt guard.

-- Place a cloth underneath to catch leaking engine oil.

-- Remove the Oil Pressure Switch, Level 3 -F447- -2- using the Socket and Jointed Extension - 24mm: T40175  .

• Replace the seal after removal.

-- To prevent oil loss, install the new oil pressure switch immediately.

-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Check the oil level. Refer to ENGINE OIL .

Tightening Specifications 

• Refer to OVERVIEW - OIL PRESSURE SWITCH/OIL PRESSURE REGULATION 
• Refer to OVERVIEW - COOLANT PUMP/COOLANT THERMOSTAT
