Lower Coolant Pipe, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With High-Voltage System: Removing

CAUTION:

A partial coolant replacement in the engine coolant circuit is not possible on vehicles with a high-voltage system.

For repairs and partial replacement on the engine coolant circuit the entire coolant must be drained and refilled.

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to DRAIN THE COOLANT .

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- from the front muffler.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and push the front muffler to the side. (Shown on the right.)

-- Loosen the hose clamp -3- and remove the coolant hose.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the coolant pipe -2-.
