- Only tap the housings of electrical components. Do not tap pins or multi-pin connectors directly.
- Wear electrically conductive clothing and antistatic shoes (with ESD symbol).

- Position special tool 2 360 895
correctly on the actuator (1) of the intake side.
- Twist the actuator (1) of the intake side with the special tool 2 360 895
by about 50° in the arrow direction
and loosen it.NOTE: The figure shows the rear of the engine.
- Position special tool 2 360 895
correctly on the actuator (1) of the exhaust side.
- Twist the actuator (1) of the exhaust side with the special tool 2 360 895
by about 50° in the arrow direction
and loosen it.NOTE: The figure shows the rear of the engine.
- Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1).
- Feed out and remove both actuators.
