Install rear brake pads

• Install the brake pads (1) in the direction of the arrow.
• If necessary for brake pads with adhesive film, detach the protective film.

• Equipment version of the design clip:
• Replace the design clip (1).

  Parts:  Design clip

  The design clip (1) must be replaced after every disassembly.

• Apply the design clip (1) and snap into place with a screwdriver (2) in the direction of the arrow.
• Ensure that the retaining tab (3) is correctly engaged.

• Remove the special tool (cable tie) 2 413 317. 
• Mount brake caliper (3).
• Replace screws (1).

  Parts:  Screws

• Tighten the screws (1), if applicable, hold against the hexagon head (2).

Follow-up work 

• Install the rear brake pad WEAR SENSOR .
• Install left and right rear WHEEL .
• Start-up or bed in (break)-in of new BRAKE PADS and blades (rear brake).
• FUNCTIONAL TEST of the parking brake on the roller test stand.
• Perform the CBS RESET .
