- Unscrew the banjo bolt (1). Release the oil feed line (2) and set aside.
- Refer to RELEASING THE BANJO BOLT FROM THE COOLANT RETURN LINE ON THE EXHAUST TURBOCHARGER FOR CYLINDERS 5 TO 8 .
- Refer to DETACHING OIL RETURN LINE FROM THE OIL RETURN COVER OF CYLINDERS 5 TO 8 .
- Refer to DETACHING THE COOLANT FEED LINE ON THE EXHAUST TURBOCHARGER FOR CYLINDERS 5 TO 8 .
- Refer to RELEASING THE BANJO BOLT FOR THE COOLANT FEED LINE ON THE EXHAUST TURBOCHARGER FOR CYLINDERS 5 TO 8 .

- Refer to CLOSE THE OIL HOLES ON THE EXHAUST TURBOCHARGER .
- Loosen screws (2).
- Remove oil return line (1).
- Ensure that the sealing surfaces in the area of the oil return line are planar and free from oil and grease.
- Replace oil return line (3) after each disassembly of the exhaust turbocharger.

- Replace gasket (1).

- Replace screws (2).

- Position screws (2) in oil return line (3).
- Push seal (1) onto screws (2).
- Position the oil return line (1).
- Tighten screws (2) with an electronic torque wrench with tightening angle display.
To ensure correct screw tightening, a second person is required!
