- Any work must exclusively be carried out with an exhaust system that has cooled down.
- Release the nuts (1) at the bottom on the catalytic converter for cylinders 5 to 8.
- Loosen catalytic converter from holder.
- Loosen circlip (1) and remove.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Loosen screws (2).
- Loosen screw (3).
- Remove holder (4).
- Lift the catalytic converter for the cylinders 1 to 4 (1) to the top.
- Screw out and remove the catalytic converter for the cylinders 1 to 4 (1).
