Installing radial shaft seal for the output flange (all-wheel drive vehicle) (GA8HP75Z, GA8HP76Z, GA8HP75HZ, GA8HP95Z)

NOTE: RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to the transmission.
Damage to the transmission due to unapproved transmission oil.

Use only the approved TRANSMISSION OIL .
Check the transmission OIL LEVEL after completing the repair.

Oil the sealing lip of the radial shaft seal with transmission oil.
Strike in the radial shaft seal with the special tool 0 494 651 (23 3 220) up to the stop.

Follow-up work

Check/top up the automatic transmission OIL LEVEL .
Install the TRANSFER BOX (ATC 13-1).
Fasten the PROP SHAFT (partially removed)
Install the RETAINING PLATES .
Install the HEAT SHIELDS .
Install transmission CROSS MEMBER .
If installed: install the right and left TORSION STRUT where required.
Install the tunnel connecting SUPPORTS .
Install rear UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
Install the transmission side UNDERBODY PLANKING .
Connect system battery negative BATTERY CABLE .
Install the luggage compartment floor COVERING .
Activate the 48 v ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
