Fitting the door seal on the rear door

• Hang door seal (1) over the rear door with the open lip facing inwards.
• Position the sealing joint in area (A).
• Bond door seal (1) as follows: 
  • Gradually pull off protective film
  • Align door seal (1) according to the specified dimensions (X) or the templates and press on it lightly
  • Check the position of door seal (1) and, if necessary, correct it
  • Do not overstretch or compress door seal (1) when positioning it
  • Maximum permissible continuity of the door seal (1) when positioning it 30 mm
  • Always apply pressure perpendicular to the bonding surface to affix door seal (1)
  • Affix door seal (1) with firm thumb pressure

  B	6 mm
  C	5.5 mm
  D	4 mm

• Create a sealing joint in area (A) and shorten door seal (1) accordingly as needed.
• Position door seal (1) along templates (3):

  The edge of door seal (1) is flush with mark (4) on template (3).

Follow-up Work 

• Install the inside rear window frame COVER .
• Install rear door TRIM PANEL .
• Attach the door handle COVER .
