Remove the charging power socket

Preliminary work
- De-energize the HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM .
- CHECK that no voltage is applied.
- Disconnect all battery GROUND LEADS .
- Remove the front UNDERBODY PROTECTION or front thrust field.
- Remove the UNDERBODY PROTECTION of the steering gear and thrust field.
- Remove the left and right engine mount REINFORCEMENT STRUT .
- Detach the front axle support EPS WIRING HARNESS
- Remove left and right brake VENTILATION DUCT .
- Remove the front left and bottom right wheel ARCH COVER .
- If installed: remove the silencer of the STATIONARY HEATING .
- Loosen the left and right anti-roll bar, anti-roll BAR LINK .
- Release the front left and right BRAKE HOSE .
- Remove the left and right steering assembly COVER
- If installed: disconnect the active stabilizer PLUG CONNECTIONS <
- Remove the steering gear UNIVERSAL JOINT .
- Prepare the mobile TABLE LIFT .
- Position the mobile LIFTING TABLE .
- Detach the swivel bearing UPPER WISHBONE .
- Detach the bottom of the wishbone SPRING STRUT
- Release the left and right front axle support SCREWS .
- Lower front axle SUPPORT .
- Remove high-voltage charging socket COVER HOUSING .
WARNING:
Car may slip off the vehicle hoist where components are supported.

- Secure the vehicle hoist against lowering and lifting.
WARNING:
Vehicle may slip off the vehicle hoist If the vehicle hoist is handled Incorrectly. Danger! Immobilization period-threatening injuries!
- Observe safety instructions on raising the vehicle using a vehicle hoist.

- Ensure there is a specific weight compensation on the car.

Heavy component falling down or tipping.

- Before lowering or removing the front axle: Secure the engine In the Installation position. NORMAL POSITION
- Loosen screws (1).
- Unlock plug connection (2) and disconnect.
- Unlock plug connection (3) and disconnect.
- Feed out the charging power socket (4).
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Lever out the retaining strap (2) and guide it out.
- Unlock and disconnect the plug connection (1) at the convenience charging electronics (KLE) (2).
- Unclip the line clip (1).
- Detach the line clip (2) from the high-voltage charging cable (3).
- Unfasten nut (1).
- Loosen nut (2).
- Unclip the holder (3).
- Guide out the high-voltage charging cable (4) with the charging power socket.
