Engine wiring harness for sensor system 1
NOTE:

- Leave the electrical components in their original packaging until they are being installed. Only use the original packaging for returning the product. Always package removed components straight away.
- Read and comply with user information on using the associated special tool 12 7 060.
- Only tap the housings of electrical components. Do not tap pins or multi-pin connectors directly.
- Wear electrically conductive clothing and antistatic shoes (with ESD symbol).

NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to wires when disconnecting connectors and plug connections.
Sheared wires can cause a short circuit.

- Do not pull on wires when disconnecting connectors and plug connections.
- Unlock the plug connections (1) and disconnect from the DME control unit.
- Unlock plug connection (2) and disconnect from the PDM.
- Release engine wiring harness for sensor system 1 from the clamps and set aside.
- Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect from the auxiliary coolant pump.
- Unlock plug connections (2) and disconnect from the boost pressure sensor.
- Unlock plug connections (3) and disconnect from the temperature sensor.
- Unlock plug connections (4) and disconnect from the boost pressure sensor.
- Unlock plug connections (5) and disconnect cylinders 1 to 3 from the knock sensor.
- Unlock plug connections (6) and disconnect from the heat management module.
- Unlock plug connections (7) and disconnect from the temperature sensor on the cylinder head.
- Unlock plug connections (8) and disconnect cylinders 4 to 6 from the knock sensor.
- Unlock the plug connections (1) end disconnect from the alternator.
- Unlock plug connections (2) and disconnect from the heat management module.
- Unlock the plug connect on (3) and disconnect from the temperature sensor on the crankcase.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Unlock the lock (arrow).
- Remove the wiring harness section (2) and put to one side.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Feed out engine wiring harness (2) of sensor system 1 and set aside.
- For vehicles with rear wheel drive:
Unlock the plug connections (1) end disconnect horn the oil pressure sensor.
- Unlock plug connections (2) and disconnect from the crankshaft sensor.
- Unlock plug connections (3) and disconnect from the solenoid valve.
- Unlock plug connections (4) and disconnect from the oil-level sensor.
- On vehicles with all-wheel drive:
Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1).
- Release the clamps (arrows).
- Feed out engine wiring harness (2) of sensor system 1 and set aside.
- On vehicles with all-wheel drive:
Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Release the clamps (arrows).
- Feed out engine wiring harness (2) of sensor system 1 and set aside.
- Release engine wiring harness (1) for sensor system 1, from all the clamps.
- Feed out engine wiring harness (1) for sensor system 1 and remove it.
