NOTE:

Improper routing of cables and wiring harnesses.
Trapped, crushed or damaged cables may cause short circuits and malfunctions.

- Route all cables without abrasions, do not trap and crush.
- Insert and install the wiring harness (1) for the transmission module.
- Guide in the wiring harness section of the transmission wiring harness and install.
- Tighten down screw (1).
TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

- Plug in the connector (2) and lock audibly.
- Plug in the connector (3) and lock audibly.
Fastening the transmission
- Lift the transmission cross member (1) with the transmission in the installation position.
- Tighten down screws (2).
TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

- Loosening the luggage strap (1).
- Remove special tools 2 219 012 and 0 495 498 (23 4 050) .
- Feed in and install the wiring harness section (1) of the transmission wiring harness.
- Secure the cable with the clamps (arrows).
- Secure the cable with the clamps (arrows).
- Connect the connector (1) to the starter and lock audibly.
- Guide in the wiring harness section of the transmission wiring harness and install.
- Fasten the cable using the clamp (arrowed).
- Connect the connector (1) to the air conditioning compressor and lock audibly.
- Guide in the wiring harness section of the transmission wiring harness and install.
- Make sure the locking mechanism (1) engages audibly.
- Tighten the screws (2).

- Plug in the connector (3) and lock audibly.
- Plug in the connector (4) and lock audibly.
- Connect connectors (1) and lock.
The connector (1) must engage audibly.
