In order to be able to remove the catalytic converter for cylinders 5 to 8, the catalytic converter for cylinders 1 to 4 also needs to be removed.

Version without gasoline particulate filter (SSA1DC)

- Any work must exclusively be carried out with an exhaust system that has cooled down.
- Release the nuts (1) at the bottom on the catalytic converter for cylinders 1 to 4.
- Loosen catalytic converter from holder.
- Release the nuts (1) at the bottom on the catalytic converter for cylinders 5 to 8.
- Loosen catalytic converter from holder.
- Loosen circlip (1) and remove.
- Loosen circlip (2) and remove.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Loosen screws (2).
- Loosen screw (3).
- Remove holder (4).
- Loosen screws (1).
- Loosen screws (2).
- Loosen screw (3).
- Remove holder (4).
- Remove the catalytic converter (1) for the cylinders 1 to 4 in arrow direction.
- Unscrew and remove the catalytic converter (1) for the cylinders 1 to 4 in arrow direction.
- Remove the catalytic converter (1) for the cylinders 5 to 8 in arrow direction.
- Unscrew and remove the catalytic converter (1) for the cylinders 5 to 8 in arrow direction.
