Install the sealing cap with radial shaft seal

• Clean sealing surfaces.
• Apply the sealing compound at the contact points (arrows) on the crankcase and oil pan.

• Push the sealing cap (2) with the shaft seal and support ring (1) and abut (arrow).

• Counter-hold the sealing cap (2) with the shaft seal in the lower area (arrow).
• Install the support ring (1) on the camshaft.
• Slide the sealing cap (2) with the upper shaft seal above the support ring (1) and abut.

• Press on the casing (1) and remove the support ring (2).

• Hand-tighten the bolts (1).
