Oil Pressure Switch, Level 3 -F447-, Removing And Installing, AUDI A6/A7
Procedure
-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Drain the coolant from the radiator. Refer to DRAIN THE COOLANT .
-- Lift the clamps -2-, remove and free up the coolant hoses.
-- Disconnect the connector -4- for the Engine Coolant Level Sensor -G32-.
-- Remove the bolt -3- and remove the coolant expansion tank.
-- Lift the clamp -2- and remove the coolant hose.
-- Lift the clamp -1-, loosen the hose clamp -2- and remove the coolant hoses.
-- Unlock the catch in direction of -arrow A- and release in direction of -arrow B-, and remove the vacuum hose.
-- Remove the bolt -1- for the engine wiring harness bracket -2-.
Vehicle without Particulate Filter:
Courtesy of AUDI OF AMERICA, LLC-- Disconnect the connector -2- for the Oil Pressure Switch, Level 3 -F447-.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the toothed belt guard.
Vehicles with a Particulate Filter:
-- Disconnect the connector -2- for the Oil Pressure Switch, Level 3 -F447-.
-- Free up the electrical wiring harness -3- and the engine wiring harness.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the toothed belt guard -1-.
Continuation for All Vehicles:
-- For escaping engine oil, place a cloth under the oil pressure switch.
- Replace the seal if it is damaged or if there are leaks.
-- Remove the Oil Pressure Switch, Level 3 -F447- -2- using the :T40175 .
-- To prevent oil loss, install the new oil pressure switch immediately.
-- Check the oil level. Refer to ENGINE OIL .
- Used coolant cannot be used again.
-- Connect the coolant hose to the connector coupling. Refer to Fig 2.
-- Fill with coolant. Refer to COOLANT, FILLING .
