Check the crankshaft side clearance
- Set the torque wrench (1) to 20 Nm.
- Attach the special tool 2 446 957
to the torque wrench.
- Check the side clearance on the crankshaft.
- Secure special tool 0 493 143 (11 6 250) with magnetic foot on crankcase.
- Push the crankshaft forwards in the direction of the arrow with 20 Nm to the stop.
- Set the dial gauge at the special tool 0 493 143 (11 6 250) to zero.
- Push the crankshaft to the rear in the direction of the arrow with 20 Nm to the stop.
